Joint-School Soccer Tournament this year will be held on Sunday August 12 at Bayview Reservoir Park (map) 1pm to 6pm. There will be five teams from the alumni associations of La Salle College, St. Joseph's College, the Salesians, Raimondi College and Wah Yan Colleges respectively. Come and show your support for Team Wah Yan!

He is stable and is always in good spirit! He teaches us how to face sickness and death dignified and cheerful!
He is most alert around 11am, but usually long queue outside.

Sick in St. Paul's Hospital in Causeway Bay on Hong Kong Island, Fr. Deignan celebrated the Feast of St. Ignatius Loyola and the 59th Anniversary of his priestly ordination on 31st July 2018. A Skype video link was set up to let Fr. Deignan watch the celebration Mass held in the chapel of Wah Yan College in Kowloon and to let him interact with those who attended the dinner that followed. St. Francis' Canossian College Alumni Association Ontario and Hong Kong Joint Schools Alumni Association (HKJSAA) co-hosted a Ginseng Bus Tour on Saturday July 28. Close to a hundred alumni, family members and friends filled two coaches and spent a full day with lots of fun on visiting Great Mountain Ginseng’s farms, factory and warehouse, shopping at Outlet Collection Niagara and wine tasting at Hare Winery. About 60 guests stayed behind after the tour and dined at Emperor Chinese Cuisine, concluding a long but rewarding day. Click here to see more pictures, and here for even more pictures.

Our former teacher, Ms Monica Tang (1978-1994) passed away peacefully on July 16, at Scarborough General Hospital after battling against cancer bravely for over a year.
She had been a teacher with the Toronto District Board of Education since 2001.
Requiem Mass will be held at the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, Scarborough, on July 27 at 10.00 am.

WYHK - Concerning the result of our application to change our mode of funding to DSS, we have received a letter from EDB on 17th July informing us that their decision is not to accede to our application. While we are much disappointed at their decision, we are determined to continue with our vision of finding ways to make Jesuit education available to students from different socio-economic backgrounds and our commitment of improving the quality of our education.......(read the whole announcement).
