On a cloudy Sunday in September, Team WYKAAO showed up at the Unionville Public Library registration desk. After a short speech by the local organizers in the front lawn on Terry Fox' fight for the cure of cancer, participants started their Run/Walk along the scenic country path along the Toogood Pond. Some of our members undertook the 5-km route and some negotiated the short cut on a bridge across the beautiful pond.
For the effort of the Jeff Mah family with his sister-in-law, Ms Monica Tang, Ms Gertrude Chan, Eric Li, Alan Leong and Anthony Ho, Team WYKAAO raised close to C$6,000.00 for this worthy cause. Click here to view the photo album.
