TAKE Notice that the 2012 Annual General Meeting of Wah Yan College Kowloon Alumni Association of Ontario will be held at Golden Regency Restaurant (太古金王朝) on Saturday, 27th October 2012 at 6:00 p.m. for the following purposes:
- To approve the minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 19th November 2011
- To receive the 2011~2012 Financial Report of the Association
- To receive the 2011~2012 Activities Report of the Association To elect the Board of Directors for 2012~2013
- To honour the Form 5 classes with years ending in 2’s and the class of 1987 for their graduation anniversaries
- To distribute Scholastic Achievement Awards (download application form here)

As reported earlier, we will set up regular table tennis playing/training sessions for our members, spouses and guests. Details are being finalized as follows:
We have selected My Table Tennis Club in Markham as the venue for our activities. Initially 10 sessions (weeks) will be reserved at the above facility from 2 pm to 5 pm on Saturdays (starting June 2 for 10 consecutive weeks except July 7). The cost is $50 per person payable on our first club activity.
Optional coaching (additional costs) is available if there is enough demand among our participants. Click here and let us know if you are interested in joining us.

Spring Banquet 2012 was successfully held on Saturday March 3 at a Chinese restaurant in Markham. Eight tables of alumni, family members and friends filled the venue with engaging chats while enjoying great food and entertaining programs.
The feature of the night was an interesting talk by our president David Wong (’64), titled 龍年四吉四凶. Michael Au (INC Chairman, WYHK ‘69) gave the audience an update on the upcoming IC2012 (click here to see a video by Peter Lau, Co-chair IC2012), amid other fun-filled games. (Aug 20th) On a weather-perfect Saturday, over 70 members and guests attended the 2011 WYKAAO picnic held in the beautiful Milne Dam Conversation Park. Everyone was having a good time chatting, catching up on latest developments among schoolmates and friends while enjoying all kinds of delicious food.
