GTA Local WYK 1967 Class Mini 50th Anniversary Reunion Dinner - Daniel Ho ('67)

For the worldwide WYK alumni of the 1967 class, the 50th anniversary reunion celebrations (7-day events) had occurred in Hong Kong during the early part of November of 2017. Prior to that, an idea was generated as a result of brain-storming among a few 1967 class schoolmates ----- it would be nice or desirable to organize a much smaller scale golden anniversary reunion dinner (before the end of 2017) for the 1967 class “old” boys who reside in the Greater Toronto Area or vicinity. (The adjective “old” may have a number of connotations ----- alumni; mature; wiser; physically going downhill; ……..)

January 2, 1947 - December 17, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Gregory Yu on December 17, 2017 at the age of 70. He is survived by his beloved wife Melanie, his son Jeffery, daughter Andrea, son-in-law Graham. Born in Hong Kong, Gregory immigrated to Vancouver in 1966. He graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at U.B.C. in 1972.

December Board Meeting was held at the private dining room of Markham Mon Sheong Court followed by a celebration dinner well attended by the family members along with our guests. Click here to see more pictures.

Donation collected during the Golden Anniversary Reunion was presented to Wah Yan One Family Foundation on 9 December 2017.
Edmond Wong organised a DimSum breakfast on Tuesday, December 5 lasting for more than 2 hours when pre-Christmas travels were compared, updates and stories were exchanged.
