Trailblazers in Habits [中文譯名:《巾幗先驅》]
《巾幗先驅》是一部有關瑪利諾修女事績的紀錄片，長六十五分鐘。
1922年，美國紐約瑪利諾女修會派遣6名修女往香港服務。從此她們留居香港，在教育，醫療，社區工作各方面默默工作，幫助居民改善生活。她們建立香港及九龍瑪利諾修女學校，黄大仙聖母醫院，及社區中心，成績有目共睹。先後到香港服務的修女超過一百五十人。
The Hong Kong Joint Schools Alumni Association successfully held its 2nd annual Chinese New Year Celebration Day with bowling, karaoke singing, line dancing and a 17-table dinner banquet. WYKAAO was well represented by twelve members and spouses. Please click here to view the photo album of the fun filled day. Obituary
Father Ciaran F. Kane, former Director of Adam Schall Residence of United College, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, passed away at the age of eighty on 5 February 2013 in Hong Kong.
Born in Durbin, Ireland in 1932, Father Ciaran F. Kane was a graduate of the University College Dublin (National University of Ireland). He entered the Society of Jesus in 1958 and was ordained as a priest in 1964. Father Kane came to Hong Kong in 1958 and was a teacher of the two Wah Yan Colleges in Hong Kong. Father Kane joined United College in 1971 as the founding Director of Adam Schall Residence until his retirement in 1994. His close ties with the College still continued though. He has also worked as an anchor of a religious music programme for RTHK Radio 4.
"The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal is a tangible way for Canada to honour Her Majesty for her service to this country. At the same time, it will serve to honour contributions and achievements made by Canadians, who represent the full breadth of our society."
Congratulations to Peter Wong (62), our director and Peter Chang (61) who are recipients of the QE II Diamond Jubilee Medal.
Congratulations also go to Edmund Kin Yu Ho 何建宇 (64) and Larry Yip (67) of Vancouver who are also recipients of the medal.

也斯喪禮，小思老師也來了，靈前致祭，肅穆哀傷，壇上悼念，情摯意真，我的眼睛有點兒潤濕了。昔日跟也斯同窗的一幕幕，清晰地盤旋眼前。半個世紀，往事豈是如煙。我們唸的是「端正」小學，正校在灣仔，分校北角，有兩處校舍，一在北角道，另一在春秧街。

耶穌會有意在香港申辦私立大學，我期待計劃能成功。
耶穌會有很強的辦學傳統，香港華仁和九龍華仁書院便是由耶穌會打理。翻查資料，原來耶穌會在世界各地，設立了約二百家大學，包括出了多名諾貝爾獎得主的波士頓學院。
我沒有念過耶穌會的大學，但在九龍華仁度過了七年，那是我的求學生涯中，最愉快的歲月。

【明報專訊】教育局早前宣布即將推出粉嶺皇后山私大用地招標，早已表明有意申請土地的天主教耶穌會大學，今日將召開學校首次校董會。天主教耶穌會大學籌建工作小組主席周守仁表示，該校計劃將原定學生人數3000，增加近1.7倍至8000人，當中包括本科生3000人、專業訓練學生2000人、研究生3000人，預計每年學費或高達20萬元，但會為三成至六成學生提供獎助學金，確保窮學生也有機會接受優質教育。
耶穌會大學昨舉行「專上教育與滅貧」研討會，出席者包括多間海外耶穌會大學校長、科大經濟系主任雷鼎鳴、港大社會學系教授呂大樂、兆基創意書院校監黃英琦等。
招標慢令籌款難
