Our 2008 Spring Banquet was successfully held 1 March at the Empire Oriental Cuisine. With close to 70 attendees, this event saw the debut of the new Board of Directors led by President David Wong. Several tables of guests enjoyed the game of mahjong before dinner. Our special guest was Michael Au from Hong Kong, Chairman of the Wah Yan International Conference 2008, who presented to us the details of the upcoming IC in Hong Kong. Everybody enjoyed an evening of Wah Yan comradeship, lucky draws, Chinese word game and of course a sumptuous dinner.
