There will be two major events on back to back weekends offered to you in the month of July:
1. Brookhaven National Laboratory Sunday Open House - July 17
2. Annual General Meeting - Saturday July 23
The FIRST event: Brookhaven National Laboratory (“BNL”) Open House on Sunday July 17, organized and hosted by Lapyan Cheng (former president).
The day's activities include:
- At 10am, carpooling from Lapyan's residence to BNL (details will follow),
- Lunch at BNL,
- Swimming at Lapyan's house,
- Visit Vanderbilt Museum in Centerport + shopping at nearby outlets,
- Mahjong??, and finally
- Barbecue dinner.
This day's activities is FREE (except for museum visit & shopping) to all participants extended by the generous hospitality of Lapyan's family and the Wah Yan Alumni Association Eastern Chapter. You will also meet the four newly arrived Student Ambassadors (2 from each WYHK & WYK) to whom our chapter is privileged and honored to host.

Activities:
- Welcoming the four Student Ambassadors who will be concluding their weeklong visit
- Presentations by the SA of our alma maters
- Updates about IC 2012, where and when
- Election of new committee members
- Updates of coming events
Cost: $35 per person
