"去年在澳洲成立的「世界華人網球會」,今年六月在浙江省台州市舉辦第一屆「世界華人中老年網球邀請賽」, 共有十支世界各地華人球隊參加。我们已經得到官函邀请。
台州在寧波與溫州之間。據說，那兒出名收買世界爛銅爛鐵，那兒也是國家隊訓練場地，有四十個網球場，其中有六個是室內。
飛機票自付。其餘食宿大會全包，前後四天。
我再舉大旗，繡「塵」字。帶領蒙市華人網球隊參加比賽。並且順道參加同學金盆禮，一舉兩得。" __ 麈噹 20140527. LA

【君子不器】
Don 兄，
午膳間談及令朗 Adam 在大學修 Double Major, 學弟以論語為政第二 " 子曰：君子不器 " 勉勵之。現不嫌囉嗦，據前軰大師之意，申述多講幾句。
此句意謂君子應博學多才，允文允武，不可局限於有如器物，一器只有一個功能。
引申是君子應通權達變，眼光遠大，積極主動。
器皿不但用途及能力受限制，而且永遠是被動的。像算盤，不撥不動。
從哲學層面，人非 robot, 不要被異化，成為某種特定的工具和機械。人應使自已的潛在才能，個性獲得全面的發展和實現。
但在當今社會，人都被 “ 職業化 ” 。因此是 “ 君子必器 ” 。
但專家，專業人士中也仍然有超出其專業範圍，研究和發表對「全局」( 世界，國家，人類，社會⋯⋯) 看法意見的人，即「不器」的「君子」。
即使不發表，也不妨礙對其專業之外的許多問題有興趣，有關懐。在這些意義上，仍然可以說「君子不器」。

A person of any profession, no matter how competent he may be, will be but a heartless instrument without the necessary soul searching at critical times as to what they are doing in the name of their profession. Understanding of the context of his work and what goes on in the wider world is vital to his making the correct judgment.
Far too often, we are seeing erosion of the fundamental values of humanity by our own humanity in many of our human activities. Are we in danger of sliding into an age of dehumanisation and eventually self-destruction?〞__ Cheung Ping Kam
