The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. He is with his Maker now. We shall meet again!

Dear Wahyanites,

It is with a sad heart that we announce the death of our beloved Fr. Anthony Farren, S.J.

Fr Farren went to god at 12:30am on 26 December 2015, Irish time. He died very peacefully. The family has requested him be buried in Carndonagh, Co. Donegal.

Fr Farren started his service at WYK in 1958, and served as School Principal from 1960 to 1966 and School Supervisor from 1986 to 1998. We should be consoled that Fr. Farren was ready to return to his eternal home with God. We, his students, his schools, his friends, and his brothers in the Society have now another advocate praying for us in heaven.

The Jesuit community in Hong Kong will be offering a Memorial Mass for Fr. Farren at St. Ignatius Chapel, Wah Yan College, Kowloon (56, Waterloo Road, Kowloon) on 13 January 2016 (Wed) at 7:30pm.

Regards,
