Philip Lee had a tea lunch with Anthony, Thomas and Canice while he was in Hong Kong recently. Three alumni of Class 63 also turned up at the congregation: Lo Hon Bor, Lawrence Tseung and Walter Lai who joined in the Class 64 reunion because Philip was unable to meet them on a separate date...
Lo Hon Bor drew our attention to a poem dedicated to Thomas Luk which was listed in a book of poems by one of our teachers, John Lam, due to Thomas' skills in traditional Chinese landscape painting. The conversation was shifted to the Art Club organised by our former Art teacher Laurence Tam to back up WYK's annual English-Cantonese Opera performance. The foot soldiers of this Art Club were many including Thomas Luk, Dominic Chan and others. In the Yum Cha reunion, Thomas confessed more than half a century later that his concentration for providing the artwork on stage was distracted by pretty girls from girl schools roaming about on campus when the opera were being staged...
