Dear all,
During my prolonged stay in hospital, 探病孖寶 Dominic Lee and Francis Ip visited me twice, both times bearing gifts of congee & fruits etc for which I must express here once more my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation ! Also, Dominic stated that i should hurry up and get well so that he can treat me to a Yum Cha lunch to celebrate my new lease on life ! At the time, I thought they were mere words of encouragement (still quite good) and never thought it would really come true ! What a fool I was, to under-estimate the WYK education and one of its teachings - that our word should always be our bond !
Well - this Yum Cha promise came true on Wed 7th June and here attached is the group photo ! Dominic organised and paid for it all - TRUE TO HIS WORD ! Bravo Dominic well done and many many thanks indeed !
Although I was around 97% recovered at the lunch - it sure served to speed up the last stretch - I dare say by next week, I would be 100% again and up to mischief (God forbid) again? Ha ha!
Also, I wish to thank each and everyone for your attendance in support as well as your collective wisdom and words of advice re health and exercise, particularly as applied to yours truly - which would be followed and taken to heart as much as I possibly can, knowing that underlying those thoughts and words are all your well wishes for my good health and longevity ! THANK YOU ALL, SO VERY VERY MUCH !
For those in HK, I hope I can see all your smiling faces at our June Dinner Gathering on the 26th.
